Booking
Reservations are required for all hunts and are taken on a first come first serve basis. Please call the corresponding phone numbers listed here. Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance. If you are unable to reach us directly, please leave a message or send an email with your scheduling information. We will check our reservation calendar and return your call promptly.
Field hunts should be booked well in advance of the selected date, so that if difficulties arise on the client-side which requires a cancellation, we will be able to rebook the day with another party which will allow us to return your deposit.
Note: Elite Long Island Outfitter does not combine hunts - Your hunt is exclusive to your party!
Payment
A deposit of 50 percent will be required to reserve your hunt date, with the final payment due prior to the hunt. Payment should be made by certified bank check, Travelers Check, money order or PayPal. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the space can be rebooked. Upon receiving your deposit, we will provide you with a receipt and a contract.
What to Expect
On our duck or goose hunts, your guides will typically pick you up an hour before shooting time at the predetermined meeting point. This allows plenty of time to get to the spot, set the spread and prepare for the day. We will hunt from legal shooting time (½ hour before sunrise) until 11:00 am. Hunts will either be out of one of our top of the line Bradley pit blinds or our custom 28 ft. duck water boat, determined by the type of hunt you choose. Please specify upon calling the type of hunt and any special requirements you may prefer as we book multiple hunts and would like you to have the option and accommodations you request.
"Thanks again for an awesome experience and excellent hospitality. Ben and I can’t stop talking about the trip and both of us have said it’s the best hunting adventure we’ve ever been on. I know we probably wore Chris out by wanting to hunt all day but that guy is awesome and a trooper. I appreciated him moving spots when the bird activity slowed down, he truly knew what he was doing. I highly recommend you guys and hope to be able to make it back up there in the future. An additional thanks for all the Elite gear you gave us the day we left. That was truly the icing on the cake and above and beyond our expectation. You can guarantee I’ll be doing some advertising down here! Keep up the good work and hopefully next time we can do a half day hunt and hang out with you guys in the lodge while tossing a few cold ones back."
