Long Island Wild Turkey Hunting 

-- THE SPRING 2024 SEASON--

New York State has both spring and fall hunting seasons. The most successful turkey hunters use box calls, slate calls, mouth calls to bring a bird within gun range (usually 30 yards or less). Head-to-toe camouflage helps hunters to stay undetected prior to the shot.

Movement must only occur when the bird is behind a tree or other obstacle. Few hunting experiences can rival the excitement as a turkey approaches a hunter! We welcome you to the action!

Wild Turkey 2024 Hunt Packages

All Hunters Must Have A Valid NYS License AND valid TURKEY TAG. We do not offer animal processing at this time.
We can provide you with processing sites.

HUNT REQUIREMENTS:
License
A Big Game license is required, AND TURKEY TAG  Before booking any excursion, please have your license current and valid for the season.  We cannot bring you out on the hunt if you do not have a current and valid license. Please see above or below (Required to Bring) for all necessary links to acquire the required license. 
 
Equipment List:
              Shotguns or Compound Bow ONLY NO RIFLE HUNTING or CROSSBOW PERMITTED 
Please no bright colors!

Booking
Reservations are required for all hunts and are taken on a first come, first serve basis. Please call the corresponding phone numbers listed here.  Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance. If you are unable to reach us directly, please leave a message or send an email with your scheduling information. We will check our reservation calendar and return your call promptly.

Field hunts should be booked well in advance of the selected date, so that if difficulties arise on the client-side which requires a cancellation, we will be able to re-book the day with another party which will allow us to return your deposit.

Note:  Elite Long Island Outfitter does not combine hunts – Your hunt is exclusive to your party!

Payment
A deposit of 50 percent will be required to reserve your hunt date, with the final payment due prior to the hunt. Payment should be made by certified bank check, Travelers Check, money order or PayPal. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the space can be re-booked. Upon receiving your deposit, we will provide you with a receipt and a contract.
 
What to Expect
Our whitetail hunting is Semi-Guided which means your guide will bring you to the hunting location on-site and await the status upon completion of the hunt.  Please specify upon calling the type of hunt and any special requirements you may prefer as we book multiple hunts and would like you to have the option and accommodations you request.
